PAYING FOR IT

Insurance & cost

We accept most major commercial insurance plans. Before your first visit we run your benefits and tell you what your plan covers, what your out-of-pocket cost looks like, and whether authorization is needed — in plain numbers, not a range.

If we are not in network with your plan, we will say so directly and point you toward programs that are.

Before you call, have handy.

  1. Your insurance card, front and back
  2. Date of birth of the person seeking treatment
  3. Any substances involved, and roughly how long
  4. Any past treatment, if there has been any

If you do not have all of this, call anyway. We can start without it.

Building 6A is marked at the entrance.

  • Do I have to live in Brick?

No. Renova serves adults throughout Ocean County and nearby Monmouth County communities. Where you live has no bearing on whether you can be admitted.

  • How far do people travel for treatment?

There is no fixed mileage limit. What matters is whether you can reliably attend the schedule your assessment recommends, a 30-minute drive you can make every time is better than a 15-minute drive you keep missing. If you are unsure whether the distance works, call and we will be honest with you about it.

  • I live in Monmouth County. Do I have to go to a Monmouth County program?

No. There is no county residency requirement for outpatient treatment in New Jersey, and insurance does not restrict you by county either. You can attend any licensed program you choose

  • Do you provide detox or inpatient treatment?

No. Renova provides outpatient levels of care only — Partial Care, Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient and MAT. If an assessment shows someone needs detox or a residential program first, we will tell you that and help identify where to go.

  • Can I keep working while attending treatment?

Many people do. We run three group times each day, including an evening group that starts after typical work hours, so most people can keep their job while they are in treatment. Which one you attend depends on your schedule and what your assessment recommends. Call and ask what is currently running.

  • My town is not listed. Do you still take clients from there?

Yes. The towns above are the ones we hear from most, not a limit. If you can get to Brick, we can work with you.
