Renova Recovery LLC (“Renova Recovery LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an outpatient treatment provider located in Brick, New Jersey, and operates this website (https://www.renovarecovery.com/ and any associated pages or successor URLs). We provide outpatient drug and alcohol treatment services.

2. Privacy Policy Overview
We are committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and substance use disorder (SUD) records in full compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder Patient Records regulations (42 CFR Part 2).
SUD records receive heightened federal protections to reduce stigma and encourage treatment. We follow the 2024 Final Rule updates (full compliance by February 16, 2026), including single consent options where permitted for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations, along with strict redisclosure restrictions.
3. Information We Collect
- You Provide: Name, phone number, email, address, insurance details, and any information submitted through forms, calls, or communications (which may include health-related details).
- Automatically Collected: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent, and referral source.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use this information to respond to inquiries, verify insurance, coordinate care and admissions, provide educational materials on addiction and recovery, improve services, and communicate with you.
5. Consent to Communications (TCPA Compliance)
By submitting your contact information (including phone number), you give prior express written consent for Renova Recovery LLC and its representatives to contact you via telephone calls, text/SMS messages, pre-recorded or artificial voice messages, and email. These may include informational or marketing communications related to our services. Consent is not required to receive services.
Opt-Out: Text STOP to opt out of SMS. You may also request placement on our Do Not Call list. Standard carrier rates may apply. We do not sell personal information or share mobile opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Sharing of Information – HIPAA & 42 CFR Part 2
We do not sell personal information or PHI.
We use and disclose PHI and SUD records only as permitted or required by HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, including for:
- Treatment (including coordination of care)
- Payment (including billing and insurance verification)
- Healthcare operations (including quality improvement and compliance)
We may also disclose information when required by law, for public health reporting, or to prevent serious threats to health or safety. SUD records generally cannot be used or disclosed in civil, criminal, or administrative proceedings without your specific written consent or a qualifying court order. Recipients must follow redisclosure restrictions.
We require Business Associate Agreements or Qualified Service Organization Agreements with vendors and share non-health information only as necessary for operations, legal compliance, or in aggregated/de-identified form.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption, secure servers, access controls, firewalls). However, no system is completely secure. We will notify you of a breach of unsecured PHI or Part 2 records as required by law.
8. Your Rights Under HIPAA & 42 CFR Part 2

- Revoke authorizations (subject to limitations)

9. Children’s Privacy
This Website is not intended for individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Insurance verification is a courtesy only and is not a guarantee of coverage or payment. Renova Recovery LLC may operate as an out-of-network provider. Coverage and reimbursement are determined solely by your insurance provider. You are responsible for all costs not covered by insurance, including deductibles, co-insurance, and non-covered services.
12. Corporate Compliance & Ethical Standards
We operate in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws. We do not engage in patient brokering, illegal referral arrangements, or misleading marketing. All services are provided based on individual clinical need and professional standards.
13. Limitation of Liability & Third-Party Links
Use of this Website is at your own risk. We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Renova Recovery LLC disclaims liability for any damages arising from use of or reliance on the Website.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by New Jersey law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ocean County, New Jersey.
